Utilizing the established criteria, the panel will evaluate all entrants on the basis of poise, personal interview, ability to communicate, charm, physical fitness, and beauty.
The judging philosophy employed by our State Pageant System is the same as that used by the Miss Teen USA®, the Miss USA®, and Miss Universe® Pageants. Our judges are respected citizens from various regions of the state and country.
They come from various walks of life and have backgrounds in the following: Community leadership, Sports Merchandising/design, Education, Performance, Travel, Talent management, Fashion, Casting, and the Arts, The judges for Miss Maine Teen USA® 2008 pageant are currently being selected.

Sherri Woodward Sherri Woodward, a Registered Nurse, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Care Administration and a Master's Degree in Business Administration is currently Vice President of Patient Services at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta and Waterville, Maine. In her position she oversees inpatient and outpatient services, focusing on promoting family centered care. She has been the administrative lead on the development of the new Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care and created the Health Careers and Image Team to reach out to our area youth promoting health related professions. A North Carolina native, Sherri has lived in Maine for the past 23 years with her husband Andrew. |

Dave Sayers Dave Sayers has been President and CEO of Casco Federal Credit Union since 2000. Dave also serves as a Director of The Maine Credit Union League and Synergent Corp., and is Chairman of CUSO Mortgage Corp. Married for seventeen years; Dave and his wife Kelley are the proud parents of Alekzander, Kellsey, and Makenzie. The family resides in New Gloucester. An honors graduate of Thomas College (1987) and the National School of Banking (1998), Dave is active as the Chairman of the Maine Credit Union League Social Responsibility Committee, which coordinates the Maine Credit Union League’s Campaign for Ending Hunger. |

Jodi Cutting-Rodrigue As a former Miss Maine, Jodi Cutting-Rodrigue competed in the Miss USA® pageant in 1993. Today Jodi is Life & Health Insurance Agent and Account Executive employed by United Insurance Group. She is the department head for their employee benefits division, and in this capacity travels all over the state meeting Maine employers. Jodi volunteers for various civic organizations but devotes a considerable amount of time to her job as a board member for the United Way of Mid-Maine. As a board member, she is not only a division leader for their annual campaign but also the chairperson for their Community Impact Team, Building Strong Families and Individuals. Jodi lives in Vassalboro with her husband David. Together Jodi and David are actively involved with real estate development and of course raising their three children: Ryan, Sidney and Ally. |

Bruce Bernstein Bruce Bernstein has worked in the cable television industry for sixteen years. Currently Editorial Director of Marketing and Promotion for USA Network, Bruce has previously had a long term association with Nick at Nite and TV Land as both an Editorial Director and as a writer and producer of on-air spots and interstitial programming. He has also done promotional writing and producing for Comedy Central, Bravo, The Independent Film Channel, Cartoon Network, WE, Oxygen and FX. A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Bruce has written several plays and screenplays and has directed a number of short films. He is highly knowledgeable about pop culture, with an emphasis on the music, film and television of the 1960’s. |

Danielle Federico Danielle Federico, owner of Future Pro Model and Face Designs Makeup Artistry, emerged from a career at a Boston legal firm in 1998 to pursue her interests in the fashion and beauty industry. By 2002, Danielle made a decision to expand her knowledge base to include the field of Esthetics, and graduated top of her class from the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in Woburn, MA. In January of 2004, Face Designs Makeup Artistry Company was born (www.facedesigns.net). In combination with her proven makeup techniques and esthetic knowledge, Danielle was able to effectively compete with larger companies in the bridal and fashion markets by focusing on improved quality, convenience, and satisfaction for all her customers. Danielle’s freelance artistry quickly expanded to include Runway, Fashion, Photography, Bridal, TV, and Film work. To date, the Backstreet Boys, TLC, NBC, NESN, Hallmark channel are among her list of many satisfied clients. As President and co-founder of IMA Models, Danielle formed a company that was able to offer innovative and exciting modeling services and work with her partner to simplify the online booking process for fashion models through an interactive website architecture. |

Named one of the top 50 best stylist in America by Ladies Home Journal and Twice voted “Portland’s Best Salon”, Mathew John grew his salon to service over 16,000 regular clients. Constantly refining his skills, Mathew John has trained at top hair academies around the world, promising to make you look “better then ever”. Mathew John now lives and works in Gorham, Maine where he pursues his other passions; interior design, yoga and animals. |
